Creative Writing in the Community


Arts Council Funded community writing project – ‘The Ark of Lost Things’

Working in partnership with The Wordsworth Trust and Lakeland Arts Trust and in collaboration with the Acland family of Sprint Mill. We have been making photographic assemblages from some of the collection at Sprint Mill with a group for dementia patients and their carers, a group of adults with long-term health problems and in three schools – The Lakes School, Ghyllside Primary School and Queen Katherine School. Participants made poems in response to the images they had created. Have fun with reel strike slot machine and acquire with no making your house!

Morecambe Bay Poetry Schools Project, autumn 2015

What a stunning morning for the first of the Morecambe Bay Schools Poetry Workshop. Working with Silverdale Primary School ahead of National Poetry Day to find poems on the shore. Wonderful work and children on task all morning. Fed up of anticipating almost everything to modify? Now you can accomplish it thanks to! Be quick right up, since the provide has limitations!
